Join the Australian Tap Dance Festival faculty for a live Q & A. Discover what made them choose their career in dance, how they got started, what drives & inspires them and any other questions you have.The faculty consists of artists who have appeared on stage, TV & film including Tap Dogs, Hot Shoe Shuffle, Tap Pack, Happy Feet 2 plus many more. Our international guest, Michelle Dorrance will also join us to answer your questions and give an insight into her amazing experiences with masters of the art form including Gregory Hines, Donald O’Connor, Dr Henry LeTang, Nicholas Brothers, Savion Glover and many more.
Michelle Dorrance is one of the most sought after tap dancers of her generation and ‘one of the most imaginative tap choreographers working today’ (The New Yorker). A 2015 MacArthur Fellow, 2014 Alpert Award Winner, and 2013 Jacob’s Pillow Dance Award Winner, Michelle performs, teaches and choreographs throughout the world.

Seating: General Admission. Please make sure you arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the performance start time. The performance has a strict ‘Lockout Policy’, latecomers will not be permitted.
