‘Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale…’

Don’t miss the stage musical adaptation of Sherwood Schwartz’s hit television show Gilligan’s Island which is coming to Australia in February 2018.

A co-production between television production house Humdrum Comedy (We are Darren and Riley, Hitstroke FM) and theatre company Left Bauer Productions (Harvey Milk – The Opera, Masterclass), the zany musical will play at Chapel Off Chapel, February 15-March 4 2018.

Gilligan’s Island: The Musical features a book by original series creator Sherwood Schwartz and Lloyd J Schwartz, and original music penned by Hope Juber and Laurence Juber (guitarist for Paul McCartney and Wings).

The Jubers say, ‘We are thrilled that Sherwood’s timeless TV castaways are now finding their way down-under. Humdrum Comedy and Left Bauer Productions provide the ideal combination of talents to bring these classic characters to life on stage and reinvent the show for a new audience.’
