A double bill one night only event
Home Grown concert series returns for its first live event since 2019 with a double bill presentation of two new musicals in concert. Tragic, a song cycle by Indy Angel, and Bearded by Sean Donehue and Nick Waxman, are two coming of age pieces with strong contemporary scores.
Tragic, true to the song-cycle form, focusses on the finer details of the larger theme of tragedy in love and life.
Bearded follows the story of two queer best friends as they embark on a journey of self-acceptance.
Featuring a line up of some of Australia’s finest performers, accompanied by a four piece band, these two musicals are brought to life in a concert setting for audiences to gain a glimpse at their first significant outing, revving them up for what will become two very successful new Australian musical productions.
