Patrick School of the Arts presents Carrie, featuring third year students from the Diploma Musical Theatre program.
Set in the present in the small New England town of Chamberlain, Maine, the musical is based on Stephen King’s 1974 debut novel. It follows Carrie White, a teenage outcast who longs to fit in. At school, she’s bullied by the popular crowd. At home, she’s dominated by her loving but cruelly controlling mother.
What none of them know is that Carrie’s just discovered she’s got a special power and if pushed too far, she’s not afraid to use it.
This production includes direction by Jan Di Pietro, artistic and musical direction by David Wisken and choreography by Michael Ralph.
