With nothing but beats, rhythms and good vibes, Byron Bay ukulele strummer, drummer and singer hits the road from January to April in celebration of his third album ‘Flow’, stopping in at family friendly spaces and festivals fit for young and old across Australia.
The shows mark the first headline tour since the release of the record and comes at the end of a huge year for the Byron Bay based multi-instrumentalist who has won over new fans at home and abroad in 2019 alongside mates Busby Marou and Xavier Rudd. Gaining a Double J feature album spot on release, ‘Flow’ quickly entered the AIR Independent album charts and peaked at #1 on both the 100% Independent Albums Chart and Independent Labels Chart.
For Bobby Alu fans, if you know, you know. There’s no limit to the pure joy on faces whenever he takes to the stage. Moving from delicate ukulele reflections to full throttle drumming and dancing, family and connection is at the core of Bobby music. If you want to feel good in your heart, grab a mate, your mum, your grandpa, and join in the national celebration of ‘Flow’.
