Stonnington Jazz Festival 2018

For one night only, guitar heroes from the west and east coast of Australia unite. Showcasing original works by each musician plus a set of guitar duets, hear tracks traversing contemporary to hard-bop to soul jazz.   Accompanied by Sam Anning (bass) and Danny Fisher (drums), this one-off outing is not to be missed.

This brand new series invites artists from across the country to premiere unique collaborative performances. Each pairing features original works by both artists and a set of duet performances, creating space for new innovations, arresting improvisations and a moment to ‘trade’ melodic ideas, in the spirit of the jazz idiom. The Loft transforms into a jazz club with cabaret seating and a relaxed atmosphere, welcoming you to kick back and relax and let the magic unfold.
