GRAACE is a Sydney based singer-songwriter who managed to make a name for herself while collaborating with several electronic music artists. In 2017, she added an extra kick to James Hayden’s ‘Numb’ melody, reaching multi-platinum status in Australia. She became noticed thanks to her vulnerable and passionate vocal timbre, furnishing each track with its own personal touch. She released her own debut as GRAACE the next year with the moody, electronic-based ‘Kissing Boys’, followed a few months later by ‘Last Night’. In 2018, she joined Flight Facilities on their ‘The Return Flight’ tour across Australia and the U.S.
Posing as some of her most raw and bold bodies of work to date, her latest EP Self Preservation brims with the artist’s newfound confidence. Dedicating much of her artistry to embolden and comfort others, GRAACE is undoubtedly the artist to turn to when in need of self-assurance and moving tunes.
Achieving so much in such little time, GRAACE’s music career is just starting, and you can expect her voice to be layered across more electronic music tracks. Her Chapel Off Chapel debut will be a special event and an opportunity to experience one of Australia’s fastest rising indie pop artists.
With special guest Liza Flume, a Naarm-based songwriter and producer who has spent the last few years releasing and performing throughout Australia and the UK. Sonically floating somewhere between indie-pop and dream-pop, her influences include Clairo, Rex Orange County and Big Thief. After years of deep diving into audio production and releasing self-engineered work, Liza is delighted to be performing live again and working on her debut album.
Chapel Sessions is part of On the Road Again, a Victorian Government initiative to bring live music back across the state.
