Chapel Summer Sessions

Jordie Lane – ‘Lost’ EP World Premiere Preview Show

Jordie Lane returns to The Chapel this Summer after his 2018 sold out session. This time, with the world premiere of songs from his forthcoming EP, ‘Lost’, a collection of dark and moody cinematic wanderings into a good ol’ post-apocalyptic existential crisis. Sounds like the perfect antidote to summer, doesn’t it?

This special preview show will give audiences the chance to see these songs performed for the first time in public, and Jordie will have advanced copies of the EP available exclusively for this show only, before their official release later in 2019.

Singer-songwriter, Folk raconteur, Jordie Lane is as much celebrated amongst his musical peers and industry, as with fans of the great art of storytelling through song.

WHAT THE CRITICS ARE SAYING

In the same way that Sturgill Simpson can bring a room to tears one minute, and have the crowd hollering for more the next, Lane plays with both harmony and grit.
– Gigie Hall, Culture Collide (USA)
He plays sort of the psych prophet in the way of a Father John Misty, yet with a more diverse sound. The shared vocals are especially beautiful and engaging as it builds and climaxes incredibly.
– Ear To The Ground (USA)
