Witness the solo prowess of this Australian artist, once the revered frontwoman of Little Birdy.
Katy Steele, now a solo force straddling indie, pop and singer-songwriter realms, takes you on a journey following the success of her albums ‘Human’ and the 2023 release ‘Big Star.’ This March marks the commencement of her intimate duo tour, a celebration of her upcoming single Broken.
Each carefully selected venue on this tour becomes a canvas for Katy’s musical intimacy, and Chapel Off Chapel is her chosen Melbourne sanctuary. Here, Katy will weave reimagined renditions of tracks from her solo albums ‘Human’ and ‘Big Star,’ interwoven with rare gems from her Little Birdy repertoire. This solo show offers a unique opportunity to connect with the personal narratives of her solo work and let long-time fans relive the magic of her Little Birdy era.
Adding a layer of musicality to the night is Katy’s principal collaborator, the one and only Grammy. Recognised in their own right, Grammy will showcase their expertise with a variety of instruments, creating a rich and dynamic sonic landscape.
