Founded in 2014, the Sydney-based ensemble have been busy studying the ancient scripts to create a program of songs that emulate the interesting history of their Balkan homeland. You’ll hear mesmerising love songs from the villages, songs of woe and heartbreak, tales of medieval heroes and odes to the rich landscapes of the region. Most importantly, through their songs you’ll witness the unforgettable heartbeat of the Balkans.
