Stage Performing Arts Summer Stage School
Based on the award-winning Broadway musical and the smash hit motion picture, Legally Blonde The Musical JR. follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.
When Elle’s high school boyfriend, Warner, dumps her and heads to Harvard, claiming she’s not ‘serious’ enough, Elle takes matters into her own hands, working hard to earn her own place at the prestigious law school. Befriending Graduate Lawyer, Emmett, and spunky hairdresser, Paulette, along the way, Elle finds out what she is capable of. As Elle begins outsmarting her peers, she realises that law may be her natural calling after all and that she doesn’t have to compromise who she is to be a success.
With only 10 days of intensive rehearsal, Stage Performing Arts Summer Stage School presents this fabulously fun journey of self-empowerment and expanding horizons. The show’s instantly recognisable songs are filled with humour, wit and sass – leaving audiences seeing pink!
