Australian-born, New York-based duo Olivia Chindamo and Matthew Sheens return to Australia to launch their second album, Putting It Together.
Olivia Chindamo‘s unique voice effortlessly carries stories and melodies with the highest level of integrity, honesty and musicianship. She made history as the first-ever jazz voice graduate at The Juilliard School, and has since performed at venues including The Kennedy Center, Dizzy’s Club and the Lincoln Center, and toured with renowned conductor Alondra de la Parra in Gershwin La Vida en Azul.
Matthew Sheens is a genre-defying pianist and composer, listed as one of Fred Hersch’s ‘pianists you should know’, and described by The Australian as ‘an outstanding pianist, stoked full of creative ideas and limitless technique… totally innovative and luminous’.
