The Tap Dancing Tale
See the beloved Peter and The Wolf transformed into Peta and The Wolf, a theatrical tap dance adventure. This classic symphonic fairy tale is the perfect way to present modern tap dance, with wonderfully costumed characters lead by our strong and relevant heroine Peta as she relives her dream of a Wolf prowling the alleyways of Melbourne.
Using a completely reimagined soundtrack with synthesisers, wah wah guitar, reggae, jazz and echoes of the original, Peta and The Wolf presents the skilful art form of tap dance as a musical instrument itself. Created by Australian Dance Award and Green Room Award nominee Christopher Horsey (Hot Shoe Shuffle, Tap Dogs, Bootmen, Swing On This) and starring six diverse wizards of tap dance, you don’t want to miss it.
Suitable for the whole family.
