George Gershwin, Richard Rodgers, Cole Porter – these are some of the iconic composers whose music shaped the Golden Age of Broadway. But not all writers left a lasting legacy.

The Forgotten Songbook unearths the music of a brilliant songwriter who faded into obscurity long before his time. Wilbur Weissman’s life was a roller coaster of ‘showmances’, legal battles and underrated hits. With a brand-new book written by historian and composer Emerson Hurley, and songs performed for the first time in decades by Karla Hillam and Jonathan Guthrie-Jones, experience the swinging music of Broadway’s most iconic era as you’ve never heard it before!

In this highly anticipated world premiere, directed by Mikey Halcrow, you decide whether Weissman’s name should join the ranks of Broadway legends or be relegated to history.
