A verbatim theatre performance with a female perspective of HIV experience.
We Were There explores the lives and untold experiences of the Australian sisters, mothers, wives, friends, medical professionals and volunteers who cared for those living with HIV/AIDS, and also those living with the virus today. With humour and heart, this verbatim theatre project celebrates the efforts and sacrifices of these women and remembers those no longer with us.
As part of 2018 Midsumma Festival.
