Hot off the treadmill from its award-winning Edinburgh Fringe run, Casual Receptionist of the Quarter returns to Melbourne for ONE NIGHT ONLY! Written/performed by Nicole Gulasekharam (Gnomes) and directed by Fiona Harris (skitHOUSE), this workplace mockumentary (think The Office, but live) follows a pathological people-pleasing gym receptionist as she becomes the face of Corporate’s ‘International Women’s Day’ campaign, while juggling members, managers, and the terrifying prospect of finally standing up for herself, in the casual side job that was meant to be temporary… ten years ago.
