Enter the world of our tiniest friends in the garden and together discover and recreate one of their greatest transformations.
Join The Sage Garden in this interactive craft workshop for children. Read the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, then get creative making and decorating your very own little egg, caterpillar and butterfly using natural clay or playdough and items from your garden, kitchen or local park.
Through a combination of storytelling and craft, children will connect with nature and explore the importance of tiny bugs and insect in a very big world.
Natural clay or homemade playdough.
Decorative items from your garden, kitchen or local park; such as seeds, nuts, corn kernels, legumes, sticks, leaves, flowers, etc.
Recommended for ages 5-8 years. Children from 3 years and up are welcome to participate with parental assistance.
