David J Wisken’s debut exhibition is an exploration of “lasting impressions”.

It’s said that the brain cannot invent faces; the unknown faces we see in our dreams, or draw from our imagination are our brains reinvention of actual ones we have seen. In a lifetime it would be impossible to even estimate the numbers of faces we see, so what does it take to remember a face? Is it the features that make up the physical form, or the energy that motivates the ever changing expression? Every face holds so much information of the past, present and future for its wearer.
