This workshop aims to introduce children to the fun, upbeat dance style of hip hop.

This workshop aims to introduce children to the fun, upbeat dance style of hip hop providing a platform to express themselves through movement and encourage exploration and creativity. The workshop is presented and facilitated by a professional Hip Hop Dancer and teacher from The Space Dance & Arts Centre.
The 10am class is suitable for children 2 to 4 years and designed to develop skills in rhythm, coordination and balance through the use of games, basic exercises, song and mini dance routines.
The 11am workshop is suitable for 5 to 7 years, where students will learn fundamental urban street dance skills including body isolations, popping and locking, which are popular moves as seen in many music videos.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Parents and guardians do not require a ticket for this workshop.
Due to venue capacity restrictions, only one guardian per child will be able to enter the workshop space.
