The AWE Alliance is a non-for-profit Melbourne-based association of women who work in the arts and entertainment industry across all disciplines and funding bases.
We seek parity for women with a view to increasing female driven storytelling and artistic leadership in key creative roles and positions of influence in Australia.
Zeitgeist subjects for discussion will encompass access, pitching, funding, mentoring, sponsoring and visibility.

This prize will recognise and celebrate one Australian woman’s contribution to the arts and entertainment industry and allow the winner some short-term financial independence to focus on a future project.
