Australia’s 23rd Prime Minister, Bob Hawke, was the longest-serving Labor prime minister who won four consecutive elections and gained the highest popularity rating of any PM since the introduction of public opinion polls.
His enormous success was however founded on a monstrous act.
After his death in 2019, Hawke meets his two wives, Hazel and Blanche, and a bishop with an even darker past. In just 80-minutes their eternal fate will be sealed in either Heaven or in Hell.
Starring some of Australia’s best actors, Peter Houghton as Hawke, Ana Mitsikas (Hazel), Chelsea Plumley (Blanche) and Mike Bishop (the bishop), plus original music and songs performed by cellist David Pereira.
Written by P. Kauffman and Denny Lawrence.
Presented by Australian Players
